Re: Revelation about Alvin Kamara's Injury Last Season
A few posters here were hoping AK to be traded this off season knowing he was obviously injured in 2019.
Finding another RB with Alvin's elite skill set is easier said that done. When healthy, he's been special. |

Key words Major, skill set, he can't be used as a bell cow or we see what happens. If Payton tries using him that way again I expect the same results, injured.

Re: Revelation about Alvin Kamara's Injury Last Season
Don't forget that Brees always has the opportunity to audible out of a run if the defense is showing run coverage. And that happens quite a bit, especially when the other team knows we WANT to try to establish the run. The key to Payton's offense has always been to take what the defense gives you. It has nothing to do with ego (on either Payton's or Brees' part) when they appear to "abandon" the run. It has everything to do with responding to what the defense shows. Is it always successful? Of course not. But, over the years, it is hard to argue with the overall success of Payton's offenses.

Since he didn't have corrective surgery, we'll have to see if he regains that very same form.

Re: Revelation about Alvin Kamara's Injury Last Season
You are talking as if he is constantly getting injured. Every RB experiences injuries. It is all part of the job. Asking him to stop doing what makes him great doesn't make much sense.
