MD is playing at Julius Peppers type weight ... nice.

Can he stay on the field like Peppers (has played 16 games 11 times in his career) is my only concern.

Some people can avoid the injury bug while others can't. Some folks get injured early and it slows their progress but when they get their training right it all comes together. Mark Ingram is a great example of this.

Davenport is my favorite defensive player when he's on the field.(honorable mention to Demario Davis) He stands out on the field and is fun to watch. He always fights tooth and nail until the whistle blows. You can actually see him getting better as the game goes on doing the little things better.

Davenport has agility you don't find often in athletes his size. I still have faith and high hopes for him to be what I saw when we drafted him. I believe that with a healthy team around him he can have the elite year we've all been hoping for. Cam on one side and Davenport on the other with Rankins and Onyamata attacking the middle could be dominant.

This is also, the recipe for helping our secondary be more successful with better pressure on the QB making him hurry his throws. Not only that we are good against the run already. You win in the trenches.
