Fournette cut by Jaguars

If Kamara doesn't return to practice soon then maybe.

He's going to want to get paid by someone and I don't think we can afford him and re-sign our own players.

Yes indeed, he would almost be like having Deuce back in his prime.

Him and Murruy would make a he!! of a 1-2 punch. Two power backs, I'm in.

Re: Fournette cut by Jaguars

He caught 76 passes last year. Didn't know he had that many. Their OL line though could not open much up for him but he still made it work on the ground. I'd take him in a minute but agree, out of our price range.

Re: Fournette cut by Jaguars

We already have a power back in Latavius and Sean barely uses him as it is.

So now we bring in another power back with Leonard in a similar role?

It's not happening.

Yup we all saw Murray stood on the sideline vs his old team, whilst Payton and his ego allowed the Vikings pass rush to panic Brees and give the game away.

Well... with Kamara now holding out, is he now an option, since ehe caught 75 passes last year?

Ty Montgomery can play a similar role if needed.

Why? So he can get 5 carries a game?

PFT says Steelers is the obvious landing spot.

But Fournette gets to chose... we'll see which team he choses.

You believe LF clears waivers?

LF will have a job before page 3 of this thread.

PFT said he's not subject to the waiver wire claim system. He's a FA, according to them.

jeanpierre 08-31-2020 11:42 PM

Re: Fournette cut by Jaguars

Nope, he was waived, which means waivers; however, any (sucker) team that claims him though will be on the hook for $4 large...

My guess is Dolphins or Redskins, both have the cap space and could use a big buck to take a beating while those respective teams develop, rebuild their rosters...

***Updated***

I wouldn't rule out the Detroit Lions...

Washington would probably be interested in replacing Guice with him, since AP is getting long in the tooth.

Yep, that $4-large was a deal-killer for teams, now the market bidding begins...

Mayor YouPayYourTaxesDontWorry'BoutMine and Governor Roberto Boucher may want to rethink allowing fans in the SuperDome for Week 1 against the Buccaneers...

Yes, they are. Wouldn't underestimate this team or this coach and yet another example that the Saints must bring their best game each and every week...

On 1 side of the ball.

Good.

The Bucs will compete for a wildcard if they are lucky.

Anyone seen their secondary? ... game day can't get here quick enough.

I was about to address the same. Their defense is still very questionable and all their offense has is names with no continuity at all.

I'll give them credit. Tampa is all in with their old QB too.

I'd be surprised if you weren't just full of crap when you claimed that you weren't watching any Saints football this season. I'm expecting you to be right there in the gameday chat just like usual *****ing and moaning about every play.

Thats cool, but I won't be. No sense in going back and forth, we'll both see it soon

Good to hear! I may actually take part in the chatroom this season. It'll actually be fun again. Thanks! Ten more days until Saints football!! Can't wait!

Arians said Jones is still the #1, add in an aged Shady Mc...pretty crowded room. With Brady spending a majority of the time on his back should be kinda fun watching all the dysfunction. Can only play one feature back at a time, plus with all the new dudes, wonder how long for the chemistry to mesh..

I really couldn't care one way or the other. Very indifferent, but enjoy. Im not someone who gets angry because you and I have a difference. I'm just doing me.

Same here. See you next season if you want to return. Got a feeling you aren't into your pledge to give it up, though. So I expect you to be around all the time even more than usual. Just saying. You are so predictable.
