Thus the use of the quotes around the word "sure". Did I not say in the same post that we could win against the Pats and lose to the Dolphins? Yes, I did.
Me:
My point was, as sure wins go in this league, we have 2 of those teams on our schedule. Will we win them both? Probably not, but we should. |

I was 'sure' myself when we played Arizona a year or two back. Those sleeper games bite us too much.
I still can't believe Emmit had to throw threw his first (and only) career pass against us in that game. For a touchdown. We're due for some consistency around here. |

Your reading comprehension skills are amazing. Next time you say something....I'll just stay away and remember last week when you kept posting links that proved you wrong. You know the whole air quotes thing? We have 2 "air quote" sure "air unquote" wins on our schedule this year. Do you understand what that means? It means that those teams will be underdogs in every game they play this year because they are really bad. But, they will doubtless both win a couple/few games, meaning that someone will stub their toes against them....possibly us. Thus, they are "sure" wins. |

Do people really not know what air quotes are? http://img.snl.jt.org//arc/char/ChFa...t%20Brauer.jpg I'm not trying to be cool here. "sure" wins. wink wink, nudge nudge As in...we should really win the game but these are the Saints and we lose "sure" wins every year. Cincy a couple years ago.......cleveland. arizona last year, etc. |
