OK, now's about as good a time as any to make some useless predictions based on a nearly complete pre-season:
09/11 at Carolina Win Last year carry-over 09/18 N.Y. Giants Win Gi-aints are getting better, but still not that good 09/25 at Minnesota Loss Vikes are better without Moss 10/02 Buffalo Loss Strong team from strongest division 10/09 at Green Bay Win Sliding down 10/16 Atlanta Loss Can't beat what you can't tackle 10/23 at St. Louis Win Too old 10/30 Miami Win Curse of Rickey strikes again 11/06 Chicago Win Bears have terrible luck, 6-3 at the break BYE 11/20 at New England Loss Couldn't get it done against 2nd team, can't get it done against 1st. 11/27 at N.Y. Jets Loss Good tough loss to a playoff team 12/04 Tampa Bay Win Bucs will be struggling 12/12 at Atlanta Loss Still can't tackle 12/18 Carolina Win Stretch run heroics start here 12/24 Detroit Win Best win against a formidable offense 01/01 at Tampa Bay Win A rout at the end Playoff NFC Teams Philadelphia - bye Atlanta - bye Minnesota Arizona Dallas - WC Coin toss with New Orleans and Seattle - WC |

History is not a predictor of the future, however, the Saints have a history of not playing to their potential against teams they are supposed to beat, and rising to the occasion against teams they are supposed to lose to.
