13-3 the last couple of years. He had a career year...there aren't many records that he hasn't broken already. He'll break a few more this year as well. He's done it almost every week. Although, to be honest some of records were already his.
Folks I was still playing top notch Old Boy rugby at his age and can spot athletic aging athletes. Drew is one of them. I know his skills are still there and he can deliver when he gets his timing down. It takes just a little longer to get into a groove when you are older. Cam, Jenkins, Jack Rabbit, Sanders, and Cook have all had slow starts. Give it time. When they get their rusty timing down the games will look much cleaner and crisper. Drew keeps his body in great shape and studies his opponents to find his weakness so that he can exploit it. Drew will get better. Bet on it! It just might be his last year but he's going out with style, the Drew Brees way! |

Drew even looks different. Like he has no enthusiasm and just going through the motions. It’s odd plus he has a look of fear at times

Is this Brees' Last Year at QB?
I hope so. I can predict every play nowadays and Brees has lost his confidence. At some point age does catch up with you.

Replacement level QB? Replacement for 3/4th's of the current starting QB's in the league today for sure. But, I'm sure we can find better, right? Yup. Brees is only completing 71.3% of his passes this season. He's only had 16 seasons with a lower completion percentage. Yup. That accuracy sucks based upon this extended 2020 sample. Ya' think? And, relax, I think you may be in error. |

IF this is Brees last year, I'm not worried. All the hype is for Lawrence, but this is a sneaky good draft for QB's. BYU Zach Wilson seems special and I'd love to see Payton coach him up.
