Re: Is this Brees' Last Year at QB?
13-3 the last couple of years. He had a career year...there aren't many records that he hasn't broken already. He'll break a few more this year as well. He's done it almost every week. Although, to be honest some of records were already his.
Folks I was still playing top notch Old Boy rugby at his age and can spot athletic aging athletes. Drew is one of them. I know his skills are still there and he can deliver when he gets his timing down. It takes just a little longer to get into a groove when you are older. Cam, Jenkins, Jack Rabbit, Sanders, and Cook have all had slow starts. Give it time. When they get their rusty timing down the games will look much cleaner and crisper. Drew keeps his body in great shape and studies his opponents to find his weakness so that he can exploit it. Drew will get better. Bet on it! It just might be his last year but he's going out with style, the Drew Brees way! ![]() |
