this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I haven’t posted in sometime but wanted to throw this idea out there... I know we have our usual pregame predictions posted but I got this idea from a soccer forum I follow (don’t hate me) to monetize Predicted scores ...

Pre-Game Prediction Thread
I haven’t posted in sometime but wanted to throw this idea out there...
I know we have our usual pregame predictions posted but I got this idea from a soccer forum I follow (don’t hate me) to monetize Predicted scores and some stats. I tried to come up with a way to translate this to football and came up with as follows: Before each kickoff, participating members predict a FINAL SCORE, HOW THE FIRST POINTS ARE SCORED AND BY WHICH TEAM, GAMES LEADING RUSHER, and GAMES LEADING RECEIVER. Points distribution: 1 point: pick game winner 5 points: call first team to score and how, i.e. saints passing touchdown, bucs field goal etc. 3 points: game lead rusher 3 points: game lead receiver 25 points: pick correct game final score 50 points: flat score if all correct So, your post might look something like this for tomorrow’s game... SAINTS 32 BUCS 28. First points are saints rushing touchdown. Leading rusher, Kamara NO Leading receiver, Godwin TB If y’all are interest in this becoming a thing we can use this first week as a test (I know I’m posting this so late...) and then start scoring in week 2. I’d be happy to keep an updated list of members and scores and we could maybe get some corny prize together for the winner or something. Just wanted to throw the idea out there. Tweaks to the scoring system are more than welcome, let me know what y’all think. WHO DAT! |
