For example, I think the majority of your post was respectful, but I do think you might want to pump the brakes on telling me what I fail to understand.
Rather than telling me what I think on an issue, you might want to just ask.
I did not get in an uproar about Kaep. He wasn't on my team, and I thought most people saw him as a failing QB who was trying to capture the spotlight by stirring the pot. He's a bit of an idiot, who doesn't really want to play, but only wants to occasionally pretend that he wants to play. He makes any team that fails to see the distinction pay dearly.
My apologies if you understand that. Everyone that I know believes they are somehow acting counter to or in defiance of Colin Kaepernick and they are not.

I am ex military and worked security in college bars for 1/2 a decade, police violence is a thing that needs to be addressed and I will tell you where I am coming from on that. I am not going to take it to a racial elevation. I have seen many white cops beat the crap out of white college kids that were not doing anything to justify that stick coming out. I have also seen many white cops address college kids in a civil manor only to require backup when things went south. As a soldier hand to hand combat is nothing more than a prelude to deadly force as the threat of someone getting the upper hand puts my weapon and the potential it can be used against me in play. So I get and have seen both sides. I have also been on the bottom of a bar fight with a guy wrapped up and got sucker punched when I let him go because he told me he had enough. There is still a mark on that wall ...

I do not disagree with Kaepernick on that and have stated so many times. I think he initially acted alone for the most part with the exception being his girlfriend pushing him and I believe that because he was alone. If BLM were behind him at that point the gesture would have been on a larger scale and more pronounced. I chalk it up to the right intent but horrible execution. Yes he is an idiot but idiots make sense from time to time, at least I hope so because we have all been the idiot at least once havent we?

As soon as BLM saw how invasive and disruptive it was to white Americans they jumped on the train as fast as they could. They saw a platform created by Colin Kaepernick and fueled with white anger. To be quote honest it was a great move on their part as they were relatively unknown until they joined in. The Democratic party saw another opportunity to paint white conservatives as racist and jumped all over that. All made possible by mad white people that couldn't ignore it.

I have a deep respect for our flag, I carried it through battle and have a great passion for what it stands for. I am not going to lose a minutes sleep or game time because someone else doesn't. I just do not require validation.

That said, I see you coming from a mile away with your attempt to teach me a lesson by duplicating what you believe my intent to be then following with the soft approach of "you can do better" in an attempt to probe for insecurities or see if I will seek our approval. A little narcissistic, no?

I equate the protesting that I have seen with tantrums because they are by definition extremely similar, and from what I have seen from some Saints fans closer to tantrums than disagreement. You your self have commented on the anger, emotion, and frustration now read the definition of tantrum. Assh0les on facebook calling ladies whom they are 'friends' with traitors to this country for watching the Saints game.

By Definition: (in short if it is children we call it a tantrum, if it is adults acting like children we prefer to call that a protest)
Protest - declare (something) firmly and emphatically in the face of stated or implied doubt or in response to an accusation.

Tantrum - an uncontrolled outburst of anger and frustration, typically in a young child.

There are no fingers pointing at me, I am neither angry nor am I quitting or threatening to quit anything. I saw a great game on Sunday, one that I have been anticipating for many months now.

I closed my last reply with a joke to be light hearted and friendly, to show that I was not intending for anything to be taken personally... but since you came back with concocted accusations and tried to work me (talk about condescension) you can go fu3k your self (smile). While I am sure that you see that as crass and unbecoming, it is genuine and with zero chance of being interpreted. I believe our discussion has run its course. Good day.
Wooooow, you certainly blew that entirely out of proportion. If I misunderstood the intent behind your post then so be it, I'll take your word for it. You absolutely misunderstood mine, so its obviously possible. What the hell makes you think I'd expect you to come to me for any sort of validation or approval? Because I said you could do better? Surely even you can look at your last sentence in the post I replied to and see why I arrived at the conclusion I did. The presence of an "lol" and a smiley face doesn't automatically make something a joke. You say thats what you meant by it, fine.

Yeah yeah, you equate it to a protest, which you equate to a tantrum, noted. I equate continued viewing as pointless and a shrug of the shoulders to a false narrative being preached by people who won't get off their collective asses and do something meaningful for the people they claim to stand(kneel?) for. Agree to disagree.

Yeah, you're not angry, I can definitely see that. You just misinterpret posts on the internet, imagine you're being attacked in said posts, and respond by telling the big meany to go f**k himself. Me thinks you've inadvertently exposed some insecurities there friendo. In spite of that, I bear you no ill will. Have a nice one.

Okye dokey! Sounds like we have an agreement to disagree. Time to drop the subject and move on.

Thanks for your service. I served as well, although I always feel like there are many others who sacrificed more than I and you are probably in that number.

I don't think there is any question that some LEO's do not handle their authority properly. Unfortunately, that is the nature of authority. I am sure that you ran across NCO's and commissioned officers who for varying reasons were not suited for the authority they were entrusted with.

If we really delved deeply into the topic, we might find there is little daylight on our opinions on that. However, given the extreme rhetoric and actions of BLM I really don't think our nation is in a position to examine those issues in a meaningful way.

Instead we are left with "defund the police" as a starting point. Much of our youth is being indoctrinated with the message that "ACAB."

Ironically, BLM has put us in a position where we have to deal with it's extremism first. We have to deal with this trend of LEO's being literally murdered in the street simply for wearing the uniform. Otherwise, the most of the people who are going to be willing to serve are going to be ones who do it for the very worst reasons.

Do not ignore. Do not acquiesce. Just find the correct "forum" to share those views. The league and the players are not on Blackandgold.com.
Guido, I am not inclined to take any posting recommendations from you.

I have not forgotten that without any thought whatsoever you felt it would be fun to accuse me of being in the KKK. I didn't respond to those slurs, mainly because I don't think that baseless accusations deserve a response. But, now that you want to pretend that you have the key to persuasive posting I think it's a good time to bring it up.

Personally, when I see someone like you try to shut people down by using such a tactic it leaves me feeling an obligation to speak out even more.
