Here's an example from the game. Kamara's TD run. Watch Smith come in motion and put on the kickout block that springs Kamara for the TD: It's plays like this why he's out there. Folks expect him to be an all Pro when virtually on every play he's the 4th or 5th option out there. Even when a receiver is not the target, they need to generate the proper spacing and offer blocking. Tre is here because he does his job. SFIAH |
Super Bowl Championships: New Orleans Saints:1, Carolina:0, Atlanta Chokers: STILL ZERO
Only Atlanta choked in an unchokable situation... Life is definitely good. |

Tre has been in NO 3 years and runs sloppy routes, rarely gets separation and does not fight for the football. He has confidence issues and is inconsistent. Smith needs to prove he can be that WR3 after Ginn moving on and the front office not drafting another WR. He's only shown flashes but going into year 3 he needs to show up (1 catch 4 yards vs TB), cut the mental errors and not disappear for weeks at a time. Period. |

So if he's sloppy and lazy and lacks confidence, then why is he such a big part of the offense?![]()

Re: Michael Thomas has a High Ankle Sprain
There isn’t really a next man up when the man being replaced is doing historical things. It’s going to be tough.
