The quiet storm was my all time favorite Saints wide receiver. He's second only to Jerry Rice in my book. I know we're supposed to hate the old 49'ers but Joe Montana to Rice was perfection in motion.

Colston started sloppy but during preseason he showed his skills off and won a starting job. He was humble and I like my athlete's humble. He most certainly didn't have a diva personality. He thrived on contested catches across the middle and fought hard for the ball to make the catch. He ran great routes, had great hands and excellent concentration. He was always prepared and he put in the work. Colston was definitely snubbed for pro bowls but he still belongs in the HOF.

Agreed, I was always a Colston fan too..., but enjoyed watching Marvin Harrison play the game also. Consummate professional’s, both.

Marques Colston is probably my favorite Saint. On and off the field he is a class act.
