Saints @ Raiders Game Day Thread

After Tampa last week I thought our defense and special teams were good enough to keep us in contention even with Drew’s decline. Figured His football IQ and knowledge of the game would be good enough to win even if there was a major drop off in his play. The way we played against the Raiders makes me think we should try the high risk high reward route with Winston. If this weeks play by the defense is a glimpse into the future we are going to have to put up major points to win games and I don’t think Brees can win any more shootouts.

Before we go off the deep end on Drew Brees we have to consider the slow starts the saints have had since 2013, let’s just relax and watch a couple more games.

Raiders - 40
Chiefs - 32

Probably worth pointing that the Raiders have been under estimated and we played a good team.

You beat me to it, Oak. I was coming in here to point out the same thing. The Raiders made Mahomes and the Chiefs look average, at best. He was constantly rushed and inaccurate. It seemed every "creative" throw he attempted went south bigtime.
