That’s dead now. They don’t have much choice but to air it out. They’re probably about to go down by 10 at the least on this drive.

We're only down 7, there's plenty of time to run the ball...

It's just that Payton just doesn't seem to have the game awareness he once had...

Doesn't help him when offensive penalties undo all his good work getting it up the ground in the first place.
