Man, what a let down last night. Most of the penalties were legit, the only one I thought was a bad call was the blind side block on Sanders in the 3rd quarter. It was a big one though, because it was in that series where the Saints had all the penalties and ended up in about 2nd and 30. That play they picked up almost to the first down, so would have been 3rd and 3 instead of 3rd and 22.
Where was Cam Jordan? What happened to Lattimore? The defense just really looked unprepared. How about jamming that MFer TE at the line if you can't defend him? The DL was mostly ok against the run, with the exception of a few plays. Once again, any linebacker not named Davis is terrible. It was nice to see Tre looking good early on, and Kamara balled again. I did see Drew walking kind of funny after one or two plays, not sure what happened there. I was hoping to see Sanders make some plays with MT out, I have to watch again to see if he was getting open or not. Saints aren't going to win every game, and this one was set up for a Raiders victory, with the new stadium and MNF. Also, the natural grass in that arena looked FANTASTIC. Kudos to the team that maintains that field. Hopefully, they learn from this and come back stronger next week. |

Pretend this was a preseason game. We will know more against GB. Get blown out against them, like this game, and we should start auditions. No position is safe (except Cam and MT).

I did notice he was shaking his arms after a play, couldn't see if he got hit or what was going on. Also he did not look happy to say the least.

Looks like Cam Jordan has fallen off too. Plenty of one on one reps against a backup guard playing tackle and no productivity (one week after getting shutdown by a rookie.)
