-The Saints run too many plays behind the line to gain specifically on third down. If you don't have 3 options past the first down marker on third down, with 10 or less to go, you are just not attacking the defense enough. You are forcing your players to make plays while allowing the defenders an advantage in stopping you.
-I like Peat. He looks to be in the best shape of his career. He's a very good guard. His value is where it is because he's equally as good if not better at tackle. His loss is big not only from a starter being lost but also from a depth perspective if TA goes down.
-I agree with all the scheme and blown coverage complaints. The Saints have the talent to man up. Simplifies everything and allows more pressure to be created. The defense is thinking too much and not attacking.
-Payton will never be a run the ball guy. Even when it's working. Even when it's a glaring weakness on the defense. That's what makes Belichick so good. He understands the other teams weaknesses. He understands his teams strengths. He is the best at making adjustments from week to week and in game.

Which proves Jason Whitlock's theory. Brees has been the general of the Saints since 2006. Most players would run through a wall for him. Now you have a handful of players calling him ignorant and not even giving him the courtesy of eye contact when he talks to them.

I wish he had retired prior to this season. I'd guess that he does too.
