For the second straight week, New Orleans was favored and lost. Perhaps the oddsmakers need to adjust their thinking on the 2020 version of the Saints.

The defense simply failed and the offense committed a critical turnover at a critical juncture.

Then, penalties were way too plentiful, once again.

Imagine what Russ Wilson would do to this defense.

Re: Saints lose to Packers after being favored for second week in a row

Three weeks in a row we fail to find and cover any TE off the line. Marcus Williams added bulk to help with tackling ...our corners can't seem to cover without grabbing and holding down field. Lattimore plays down to the competition (Lazard) again.

Who is #55 ? I believe that's Kaden Ellis. If so, he was beaten again by a TE for a td. Appears lost on passing plays. Where is Zach Baun? A month ago Sean put a veteran LB (Nigel) on the street because he said he liked what he saw from the "younger guys".

Defensively, we have serious issues to address.

Dennis Allen's scheme is complete trash .

We've had a weakness vs TEs for years. Need a cover LB or a scheme change.

I don't understand why Anzalone is not used to cover TEs. If his position is not assigned to do so, why not move him to the LB position that is?

Is he not on the field then? Not watching this year - only reading.
Kaden instead?

Anzalone is athletic but a liability vs the run. Something wrong with his instincts or read/reaction or tackling. Haven't seen enough to figure out but the results are poor. Plus, we gambled again and lost again on an obvious injury history.

Hated his play at the the only college game I saw him play so I don't want him. But since we have him, use him or cut!

Our LBs have been a weakness. Surprised not to hear of Z Braun by now.

Kaden isn't ready. He's lost in coverage.

Burned for TD's vs Oakland and last night the Packers.

As a franchise (history), the Saints have always been preferred by bettors as underdogs vs favorites...

I thought Malcolm(the Mouth) Jennings was supposed to cover tight ends. He can't cover and he can't tackle, he's a waste of money and a roster spot. Bell had his short comings but he was better by far than Jenkins. I spoke to a Philly fan yesterday and he said Jenkins is old, slow, and washed up. I can easily see where he's coming from.
