If Sean continues to pound the rock ...

Those DBs will not want to have anything to do with tackling Murray in the 4th.

Re: Saints vs Lions Game Day Thread

You know, to me, the Golden Age of the NFL was late 70s to early 90s, defense and power running was king, but we had special passers like Dan Marino...

Big Mannings fan, but if I could have in their prime Dan Marino - Barry Sanders - Riggins - Jerry Rice - Steve Largent - Anthony Munoz - John Hannah - Jim Otto - Bruce Matthews - Ron Yary...

Re: Saints vs Lions Game Day Thread

Maybe that's what it's taking to get Brees back to baseline - take away his favorite targets so he won't target fixate...

Who didn't know that play was coming? Why not use it as a decoy?!?

This is great, but it is Detroit. Let's see some consistency. Last week was encouraging due to the offense. Defense needs to show more.

I have zero complaints after the first two possessions. We may have the best running game in the league.
If Sanders and Kamara stay healthy we will be unstoppable when Thomas gets back as long as we stay balanced and continue to spread the ball around.

It’s Detroit yes but we are missing six Pro Bowl players and two more playing hurt. Pretty much a wash.

Now there offense is cold and our defense is fresh...

We know which team doesn’t do fumble recovery drills. Never just fall on it, cup it so it doesn’t shoot out.

They need to set it at 15 for pi, like college does. QBs use it too much as a crutch

Re: Saints vs Lions Game Day Thread

Seems like every team we've played has run the same play on the goal line, and there is never anyone near that receiver.

Jenkins looking inside to be hero ... TE coverage Jenkins is 0 for far to many. One of the things he was brought in for.

Lord, Melvin was placed on IR last week. We won't have to deal with him.

Drew knows what's up, kill, kill, and then gives that ball to Murray...

Same way he does kill, kill and then passes when required.
His call.
