Week 5: Saints Friday Injury Report

Friday's injury report is here for the Saints, as they're continuing preparations for their Monday Night Football game against the Chargers. Due to the league's recent flare-ups with COVID-19 testing, this will be one of two games to be played on Monday, with the Broncos and Patriots set to kick off at 4PM CT. We'll even get a Tuesday game because of the Titans. Here's a look at how things look going into tomorrow, which looks identical to yesterday.

DID NOT PARTICIPATE: Justin Hardee Jr. (hamstring), Deonte Harris (hamstring), Janoris Jenkins (hamstring)

LIMITED: Ryan Ramczyk (concussion), Jared Cook (groin), Marcus Davenport (toe), Trey Hendrickson (groin), Malcolm Jenkins (knee), Marshon Lattimore (hamstring), Andrus Peat (ankle), Michael Thomas (ankle)

The first Saints injury report also saw all 11 players listed on it. We'll get the final one tomorrow evening with game designations. Here's how the Chargers looked for Friday.

Not really thinking about the game now. Just hoping all of you in the gulf are doing alright. Hang in there.

Re: Week 5: Saints Friday Injury Report

I see more hamstring injuries to the older rugby players, including myself, than any other injury. Jenkins is going to have a harder time with the injury than a young buck would. I hope he's back soon but the back up corners looked better than the starters last week. Maybe we should rest him until after the bye. That looks like the plan.

Our secondary has always started slow and I’m sure no preseason didn’t help. Prob did look very good though.
They have also struggled some when there is a new person out there like Jenkins. Takes a while to gel I guess but I remember one of them saying that when we resigned Prob.

+1 on PRob.

Hopefully he has another solid performance. Chargers rookie QB (Herbert) likes to air it out so we'll be tested again on the boundaries.

Got a feeling we get another pick six on the way to the win.
