this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Why would we have signed someone who runs the ball ? It's not like Sean would've started having balance in the play-calling... If we signed anyone, how about a veteran boundary CB (not avail) or free safety who'd ignore Dennis ...

It's not like Sean would've started having balance in the play-calling... If we signed anyone, how about a veteran boundary CB (not avail) or free safety who'd ignore Dennis Allen, call secondary coverages that'd work... Mr. Marcus was neutered with the signing of hasbeen Malcolm Jenkins and likely is gone after the season concludes... |

Re: LeVeon Bell - yah or nay
I agree. Bell was Kamara before Kamara. He’s back in an offense that actually has weapons and a QB. He’ll definitely make positive contributions to that team. It would have been nice to see what he and AK41 could do together, especially since Drew likes to dump it to the backs so much.
I look at a player like Jalen Ramsey. He’s got that kind of personality many on this forum dislike. A “problem child” if you will, but that Rams team looks really good with Ramsey locking **** down on the outside. What I’m saying is, if you can’t manage big personalities you don’t need to be in control of a team. Talent wins ships...but when talent becomes available all I ever see is a million reasons why we shouldn’t go get it. Shoutout to the Honey Badger. |

The Chiefs were already the odds on favorite to go back to the Superbowl. Leveon Bell does not move that needle. I'm sure he can still be productive and should certainly help them but let's not get carried away here. He hasn't been effective in quite some time.

Good for Bell. Jets are a joke.
KC has great coaching, great players and a Head coach who still believes in his ability. He'll compliment Clyde well. Bell is still an effective pass catcher and is a "fit" in that system. You can NEVER had enough weapons on offense. Chiefs come to the dome this year. |

Didn't we all think Ty Montgomery would be a great fit for this team? Where has he been? Without checking, I'd say he's played about 10 snaps.
