Maybe Trey and Davenport become the starters with Jordan as the situational pass rusher if he is re-signed. He is getting older and also a free agent next year I believe.

Thinking along the same lines the game is more and more about speed, Davenport Hendrickson and Granderson to me are the future. Did you see that spin move Granderson put on the RT Sunday ... he was at Ryan in 1.5 seconds, no sack but Ryan got the ball nowhere. The other thing seems to be whoever we have in the interior line they are all killing it.

Our Dline still strong and deep.

Sorry, but Trey is killing it this season. If the question is between Hendrickson and Davenport. I'd say goodbye to Davenport. He's gonna end up with 15 sacks this year.

Davenport is still on the cheap side especially if the Saints pickup 5th year option

Pretty sure I said Trey Hendrickson Davenport and Granderson ... did not excluded either Hendrickson or Davenport. They will pickup Davenport’s 5th year option, cheap relatively speaking. Most Def Sign Trey but the question, maybe some can answer, where is Jordan in terms of years remaining dead money and such. Not counting Jordan out others DE’s the roster are on the rise. Cap space is king 2021.

The Saints won't break the bank on Trey based on 1 season's stellar production.

If his agent has ridiculous salary demands, he'll get paid elsewhere.

Agreed. And let's just say he'll hope to get paid elsewhere. With these upcoming COVID driven caps, players and their representation surely know that expecting anything close to recent contracts will be impossible anywhere. I would be shocked if the NFLPA hasn't been sharing that projection with their membership.

Just over half a season and he’s already close to double digit sacks. Don’t think you can let him walk. I don’t think he will break the bank either. I’m just meh on resigning Lattimore and Williams plus you never know how long Davenport is going to be available.
