Unclear what effect it will have on the game but could it mean an extra bye?

Probably too early to tell on the game impact, maybe pushed to Monday, Tuesday. but an extra bye I would think is not likely.

Doubt it. probably just throw the game into the following week and make the Saints play a really short week like they did with some other teams this year. Can't remember who...but they played the Pat's.

If a team misses a game the NFL will make you play two games when you get healthy from what I understand. Godhell doesn't want some teams playing more games than others because it could confuse the playoff schedule.

EDIT: That is unless the schedule works out better for the larger market teams then they could only need to play one game to be eligible for the super bowl.
