In Latts case though, he has something else going on. The fact that he can't get himself amped up unless it's against Mike Evans is troubling.

Lattimore has been my favourite player on the roster since his rookie year, so I don't want it to sound like I'm just throwing shade on him...but I think he's just straight up lazy. He strikes me as the kinda guy that's gonna put on 40-50 lbs within a couple years after retiring.

Thank God, I lost 43 pounds after retiring. But, I may have put on ten this last week traveling down Route 66 eating at nothing but roadside diners.

Happens to the best of us bruh [emoji23]. Good on ya for dropping the weight after playing though! O/D lineman? Those guys all seem to shed serious weight after retiring.

The next Ed Reed needs another agent?

I’m right there with ya on that AG. I’m a trucker but I try to stay away from the diners as they will put serious weight on in a heartbeat, but eating sandwiches in the cab every night gets old sometimes. 😉

But, damn, that diner food is so good. And you have to eat it when doing the historic Mother Road trip. I think I have convinced my wife that I need to buy a good dependable '57 Chevy to make the whole trip in sometime soon.

Lol I wonder if his new agent just watched that 70 yard TD

As much as I don’t like Williams, Demario Davis should’ve had the deep middle third on that cover 2. But yes, Williams didn’t help matters by doubling a receiver so shallow.

Williams is always out of position
Bites too easily

No cover over the top

And lets people behind him far too often
And teams know it

Williams is frustrating to fans not opposing players.

I know it’s hard to pass up. I like the ‘57 Chevy idea.

What would you do coach? If a RB fumbles repeatedly, do you continue to feed him the ball or do you make a change? Dennis the Menace keeps trotting out a player who isn't executing on Sundays.

Saints need to shake up the roster on the back end. If it means benching a starter, so be it.

Remember when Kenny Vaccaro blew a game losing coverage in 2014 vs 49ers. Payton benched him for a grand total of the first drive of the next game. That's how much of a clue he has.

Mark Ingram fumbled in 2016 vs Hawks and was immediately benched for the entire game, for Tim Hightower. Now why can't he take charge of his employee Dennis Allen and tell him this isn't good enough? He used to scream at Rob Ryan every other play, not a peep said to Allen.

I didn't mean to hi jack this thread to Dennis Allen but …

Marcus Williams can walk in 2021. He needs to get in a system/scheme that plays to his strengths & not be left for dry, looking clueless every week.

I have no doubt he'll play better in a different scheme.

The annoying thing is he'll go somewhere like Philly like Malcolm Jenkins did and play like an all pro.

Bell was the glue in that secondary. Jenkins should have never been brought in this scheme. He doesn't play with authority like Bell did. Hated losing him.
