I would have benched Marcus Williams weeks ago.

He's become a COMPLETE LIABILITY in the secondary.

R Jones, Thomas are upgrades at FS. And don't get me started on Harrison Smith. Oh my.

I don't feel safe when they attack our secondary. It's always going to wind up going for a big play.

Not giving safety help is a coaching decision... like a slot corner on the boundary :rolleyes:. Dennis A is a big part of the defensive woes in New Orleans and not just this season. INSANITY.

His play calling lacks common sense on so many levels.

I refuse to believe Latt, Janoris, Ceedy and Malcolm have all of a sudden become trash players.

In addition to targeting safeties before the trade deadline, the Saints may want to consider adding a pass rusher if possible. Part of the secondary problem could point back to the pass rush. May have to consider dangling one of the backup QB's as trade bait.

They’re top 15 in pressures and sacks. They just gotta cover some ****. At the very least keep things in front of you and then come up and make the tackle.

If it were only one safety making these mistakes, I'd think it is the safety. But Von Bell, Marcus Williams, Malcom Jenkins, and probably someone else I'm forgetting have all been guilty of the same errors. At that point, it has to be coaching or scheme, right?

Yeah, I kind of wish the trade wouldn't happen, because I enjoy watching him play too much to see him ruined by Dennis Allen.

Even Demario has been relatively invisible so far, that's how bad the D has been.

Agree with general consensus, any high profile player signed would inevitably be ruined by Dennis Allen's scheme and lack of teaching ability.

Safeties always look worse than they actually are because the rest of the team/secondary is playing piss poor. They end up trying to cover up multiple holes in the same play, and it makes them look as if they are playing way out of position.
