Dennis Allen is not a very effective teacher.
Actually, he doesn't look like a very likeable coach to me. He seems unapproachable. He is known for square peg/round hole mentality that doesn't interact well with his students.

To be a good coach you have to be an effective communicator. Getting the team understanding and coming together on the concept is the most important part of preparing for a game or instilling a style of play.

It's fun watching the switch come on with players and having them help explain it to the team members who haven't caught on yet. It's a team building exercise when done correctly.
