Saints vs. Bucs Wednesday Injury Report

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Drew’s shoulder is bothering him. Call me crazy, but some time this season I’d like to see what Jameis can do in our offense if Brees needs a week off to get his shoulder some rest....

Optic’s would indicate Taysom would the the choice ... if he can throw and read defenses he could be very effective mixing in the RPO I think CSP sees that as the next step.

Winston has arm strength mobility and he can obviously put yards and points on the board but will he fit this offense that this team and players have been built around are will CSP have to build a different offense for Winston.

Marquez Callaway was a full participant on Thursday.

That's encouraging.

I think if you put Winston out there you see Sean Payton’s real playbook.

Are you saying - save Winston for the playoffs

Guy has a cannon and I think he would be the logical successor to Drew

I really believe that Taysom should get a shot. He's earned it. That would he of course if Drew hits rock bottom and can't play anymore or his arm falls off.

I feel the same way about players like Hendrickson and Calloway.

Obviously, Calloway would have to pass Sanders. But man, he looks like he might be a good #2. Or at the very least play some slot or on the outside when MT is slot.

I'm pretty old school though. I like seeing players that bust their ass get a shot at the title.

Taysom can’t read the defense. He’s constantly making the wrong decision on read options. He was a terrible QB in college and he’s a terrible QB now. Jameis is miles ahead of him.
