RE: PAPZ?
Sorry fellas, the last post I made was out of anger of my friends deciding to stay in New Orleans. Thanks for all the support you all have given me, my family, and my friends. We've been out of power for a couple of days and we've seen on the news that my house is pretty much under water (as well as all my friends). I'm sorry I can't join you guys for FF football this year, but I have so much stuff to worry about now. I still can't exactly pinpoint where my family is and I'm pretty much homeless and jobless. I'm currently residing with my sister and her husband and the hospital I work at in New Orleans is pretty much gone. It would be great if I was getting paid salary there so I can get workers compensation, but I was doing contract work in New Orleans. Basically I'm waiting to find my parents to relocate to Austin Texas. Hopefully I'll be able to pass by these boards every now and then until we figure out a plan of action. I hope I'll be able to find a job in Texas somewhere in some hospital. Anyways, thanks for all you guys support and prayers for the people of New Orleans. I really do appreciate it and hopefully I'll be able to rejoin this forum along with you guys consistently within the next year or so. God bless.

Indeed I am (Dallas). Papz, or anyone else, please msg me if there's anything I can do. I've given blood, and we've taken supplies to some hotels here in Dallas, and we're collecting things at work too. I still feel helpless tho. I'll help anyway I can!

1. Any place you visit , coffee shop , mall or massage parlor , ask where there Red Cross donation canister is for the Katrina victims , not everyone has a computer ???? 2. Any closed Military bases in your area ??? We been banging away with this thought and have finally seen some air time on it . Work the local mayor to see if they can get it opened , it is the best solution , it has military housing on site . 3. Volunteer if you can , with the Red Cross . I am hoping to go in soon with the effort . 4. Clean out your closet , 1 out of 5 survivors does not have any shoes and you could take those down . 5. In your spare time , you could email businesses and ask what they are doing to help ??? I hope to start working casinos this weekend , a few simple emails gets the thought process working . |

Thanks fellas I appreciate all your offers but I know we'll be okay. If you have any idea how me and my family are, you'll know we will never ever depend on anyone but our own hands. Trust me... the support some of you have given me and my family will always be in my heart. I can't believe I've made so many friends off of a Saints board. Some of you guys have a blessed heart and I hope your family will always be blessed. I know me and my family will be okay because we've never been given anything in our lives. We are hard working middle class men that earn every cent we have. Your consideration and help that you all want to give means so much. I'm a man of honor and my family/friends mean the the world to me... and your support will forever be entrenched in me. Trust me... from the bottom of my heart, thankyou. I'll a pretty stubborn man... if me and my family were to ever have to beg... I will never do it because I have two hands and will forever be able to handle my household.
But trust me, from the bottom of my heart... Thankyou. Who would have figured you would have made close friends of a Saints board. Thanks. |

Good to hear from you, papz. Prayers are with you as you round up family and friends... and a good bookie.
Godspeed, my friend. 8) |
