Agreed

At least Hill kept the ball and didn't do something silly.

He can’t stand in the pocket and read the defense. I’ve been saying this.

How much time does Payton give him before he puts Winston in?

There was absolutely no chance there. He had no options and no time.

You watch the replay from the secondary, everyone was basically in the same area. Pretty sketch play really. There was nothing

Don’t know why we didn’t run it.

Re: Saints vs Falcons Game Day Thread

My guess is, they probably thought that’s what we’d do

Re: Saints vs Falcons Game Day Thread

Yes!!
I think that Cam now has the record for the most sack against one QB.

He struggles with his urge to run, it’s unnatural for him. That’s why he looks panicked when scrambling. Looked like he realized he was out of the pocked and was trying to get back in like it would be safe lol.

That a boy Cam!

That Harris play is gonna open up stuff later when he's in motion...

Taysom looks faster in the backfield than Drew.

Denard needs to buy MT flowers after that

Hill's looking okay so far. Better than I thought he would actually.

Ok now! This might actually work!

I liked the call. Might've worked if Kamara took it outside.

ChrisXVI 11-22-2020 12:28 PM

Re: Saints vs Falcons Game Day Thread

Taysom’s doing an excellent job getting the play call out quickly in the huddle.

That was a lucky miss. Yikes.

Yea that linebacker read his eyes

ChrisXVI 11-22-2020 12:31 PM

Re: Saints vs Falcons Game Day Thread

Pretty encouraging so far. Taysom’s showing excellent command of the offense. It’s going to be a struggle though when he stands in the pocket and passes.

Re: Saints vs Falcons Game Day Thread

GL and no Taysom runs. Payton the mastermind...

iceshack149 11-22-2020 12:33 PM

Re: Saints vs Falcons Game Day Thread

When will we see Winston? Will Paton keep him out to prevent going down two QB's?

Re: Saints vs Falcons Game Day Thread

Let Hill get comfortable back there before we start getting too cute.

I don’t dislike the play. We have a new QB trying to get his rhythm and his feet under him. I suppose I’d like to see him comfortable in the box and not staring his receiver down before we start going outside the box.

Where the hell was the flag? Our DT had a clear path to Ryan with the OL all over him.

Garbage holding call.

I'll eat crow for sure if Hill keeps playing like this.

Re: Saints vs Falcons Game Day Thread

So far Sean Payton was right and I was wrong about Taysom Hill. Who knew?
