Perhaps our WR aren’t accustomed to balls throw with velocity? Lol

Re: Saints vs Falcons Game Day Thread

Apparently our players have forgotten how to catch. That’ll help.

So far it’s not Hill that’s losing the game.

I'm not superstitious but I worry that I just jinxed us there.

Yeah, that’s not what I expected lol.

Re: Saints vs Falcons Game Day Thread

Lack of touch and quick decision making by Hill is hurting badly.

ChrisXVI 11-22-2020 12:58 PM

Re: Saints vs Falcons Game Day Thread

Going into this game I said we need to call a lot of play action rollouts and shotgun QB draws...we haven’t done either. Where’s the creative play calling?

LivnaLieTimay 11-22-2020 12:59 PM

Re: Saints vs Falcons Game Day Thread

So far Hill has been solid. Every time he’s held on to the ball it’s been because no one was open. That drop by MT was a drive killer and Lutz needs to make that kick.

Hendrickson will have 16 sacks this year. Wow.

i guess payton is trying to prove to the world taysom is a pocket passer

Re: Saints vs Falcons Game Day Thread

Kick coverage has been awesome all season...

ChrisXVI 11-22-2020 01:06 PM

Re: Saints vs Falcons Game Day Thread

So... why is Payton not playing to Taysom’s strengths? He’s calling plays like Brees is in there. Why are we not getting Taysom on the move with rollouts?

Rsanders24 11-22-2020 01:07 PM

Re: Saints vs Falcons Game Day Thread

He needs to stretch the field...it’s too congested with all the underneath routes and short stuff...

blackangold 11-22-2020 01:07 PM

Re: Saints vs Falcons Game Day Thread

Don't like the offensive play calling. No one is making plays, seems like Taysom will have to do it on his own. Dropped passes and missed blocks are hurting the O.

First NFL Start, Bitter Division Rival, First QB Start in years - think he's doing well...

bobdog86 11-22-2020 01:07 PM

Re: Saints vs Falcons Game Day Thread

Think we should be running the ball more...could Payton be trying to showcase his toy? To prove it was the correct choice? Don’t know but offense is a little wonky

Exactly. Hill has no lanes because they have no reason to cover the entire field.

Just want to say that the linebacking play looks awesome...

Now if we can just get DA to lay off the blitzes...

Hill has been fine, the play calling has been bad

Well he did just throw one in the dirt to Sanders. Maybe tipped, I hope.

Defense is mailing it in now...

Energy just sucks overall

Hope all you want, but that 10 yard pass went 4 1/2 yards

Julio isn’t in the game.. why are they marching down the field?!

I’ve never understood why people think Taysom has a strong arm. He has a noodle arm.

I know... He can't even throw 10 yards, they should just pull him now and let the kicker throw passes... Cmon Lutz

Re: Saints vs Falcons Game Day Thread

Defense has done everything that can be asked of them...it’s time for the offense and special teams to wake up.
