The Official Eating Crow About Taysom Thread

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; This upcoming game vs Denver is at Mile High. Might not be a huge thing but isn't the altitude a factor also? Forecast is calling for Clear and 38 F so cool but not anything that the Saints can't handle....

When Brees the Medical staff his doctors and coaching staff ... when they all agree he is healed and ready and can effect the game plan without limitations ... Brees will be on the field.

Here's hoping that's against the Eagles in week 14! I believe it will be.

Folks concerned about the altitude, don't forget Taysom played at BYU, Utah, he knows altitude...

It’s not just where he played JP. Denver’s elevation is 5100-5300’, Pocatello Idaho is very close to that at 4500’ which just so happens to be where he lettered in football, basketball, and track. He is the last person I have concerns over when it comes to altitude.

Now, 20 salad Peat (I’m taking into account his off-season loss of 15lbs) might get a smidgen winded.

Injury report will post in a few hours - expect Peat, who left the match Sunday, may be on today's report...

Absolutely hate the Andrus Peat contract.

Warford took more heat for Peat's bad play in that Vikes playoff game.

IMO Brees simply looks less comfortable, tenative when AP is in there … specifically in the pocket. No wonder he has to check down a lot.

Just kidding... I thought there was no possible way that he could be an NFL QB and he looked incredible today! I mean seriously, what did I just watch?! This is going to work guys.
Yep.....guilty here as well. There was no way I expected Taysom to start against the Falcons and I thought Sean was nuts when he announced it! I am pleased to admit I was wrong. Soooo wrong!
