Murray had an existing hamstring issue Saint FO felt was manageable based on medicals at the time of signing; Payton stated at presser he really liked versatility and options the slot-back would bring the team...

It would appear the pre-existing hamstring issue cropped up again in practice and worsened, so they shut him down for the week; he could really do damage for us, especially in our screen plays - Get Well Ty...

Armstead being out is bad. Better now than later though and he’s been pretty healthy this year all things considered.

Sounds like he's asymptomatic so he'll be able to come back next week if he gets two negatives before then. At least hope so. He does get a week of rest which can't hurt in itself, right?
