I'm still not sold on Taysom as a passer & his decision making is questionable. There were throws made into double/triple coverage while others trailing were open.

Until Bress is healthy and ready to return, we need to continue running the ball & playing sound defense. Kwon Alexander has been as good as advertised in the trade.

Bottom line, we got the dubya but must play better at the QB position while #9 is out. Atlanta will be a very difficult game 2nd time around.

Me either, K. I’m not sold on Taysom and Payton’s explanation. I get some people on here wants him to be the heir apparent but he’s not. I hope I’m wrong but if it walks like a duck

I get what you are saying, I might phrase it as absent unless someone wants to characterize not making a decision as a decision. You or I could stand back there and pump our arm as effectively.

As far as questioning someones decision making talents, well brother I can not think of anyone in the Saints organization that hasn't been tagged with that by someone in these forums this year lol.

I agree that Sean Payton doesn't have a history of a calculated reduction in vigor, and thats likely a line for the press.

So this is interesting:

Did we essentially know it would be a cake walk so we went ultra-vanilla like a preseason game to not put more of our tendencies with Taysom on tape?

Taysom Hill clearly not the answer....CLEARLY, some of you guys can see EVERYTHING wrong with every other player but somehow can't see that Taysom isn't the answer in New Orleans as the fulltime QB. If Jameis doesn't play against the falcons I believe they will be ready for a Taysom led offense especially coming off that win with against Oakland

Perspective: Second career start after not starting at QB in six years...

Likely Last Minute Game Plan: They have no QBs so get a lead and sit on it without providing game film for upcoming opponents...

Denver would have a Top-5 defense if they had a competent offense that wouldn't put them in bad situations...

For you youngsters, Vic Fangio was the LBers coach under Mora for the famed Dome Patrol, so he knows defense...

Back to original perspective statement - Though he's 30, he's still young in terms of NFL experience, and coaches emphasized not making mistakes, that lingers in an experienced player's head...

Liken it to the situation of Marcus Robinson's rookie year and the fateful Vikings Hail Mary where Payton and Allen told Mr. Marcus to layoff resulting in a bad play...

So let's keep all that in there and see what Taysom does next week @ATL...

I'm with you on this. He played well in game 1. Game 2 was weird and had weird and unusual circumstances. He didn't play that great. But we got the win.

See what the kid has in him against Atlanta and how he responds to this game.

According to a tweet from Nick Underhill ...

Janoris Jenkins will be "ok". If accurate, that's GREAT NEWS.

If anyone has the tweet and can embed it, that would be awesome.
