Stafford has been quite the subject here on Denver sports talk radio this past week. They've been clamoring for the Broncos to trade for him first and Matt Ryan second.

Yeah as much as I like Taysom, Stafford at the moment is leagues ahead of him in terms of QB play.

Stafford and Denver could be a good fit (i.e. big arm & high altitude), but I think it would be a lateral move in Stafford's eyes and I doubt he'd have much interest in such a move.

I think he'd be looking for a chance at the playoffs at the very least and while that is what every QB and player looks for - Stafford has earned his coin and I think he would be looking for success on the field first and foremost.

For what it's worth, I do hold Stafford in higher regard than Ryan.

As I pointed out earlier Ryan cannot go anywhere until 2023 with all the dead money built into his contract. He's a Failclown for at least two years after this.
