Whether they put Marshon on Ridley or Julio, Patrick Robinson (hamstring) and Marcus Williams will have to double on the other outside WR... Malcolm Jenkins, now a liability in coverage, will probably blitz while DeMario takes out their Tight End Hayden Hurst... Having Sheldon Rankins back should help the inside speed rush to get in Matt Ryan's face... Kwon Alexander could be the X-factor by freeing up Demario, taking on Hurst or blitzing; suspect they'll be used to bully slot/inside receivers... Big assumption is ATL likes to use the RBs to block to make Matt Ryan comfortable; possible late wheel routes this time around... |

Re: Saints @ Falcons Game Day Thread
Regardless of what happened in the last game between these two teams …
Losing Janoris is a big deal, not to mention we have no idea how healthy PRob will be nursing a hamstring injury. *Last thing I want to see is Crawley on Calvin Ridley. I think we can still get to skid britches bringing 4. Key match up for me … our DB's vs Atlanta's receivers. |
