Saints @ Falcons Game Day Thread
1 Attachment(s)
It's been more than two months since the Saints have lost a game (feel free to look it up) but they won't catch anyone by surprise as they head to Atlanta to face the Falcons for the second time in three weeks.
Taysom Hill will get his third consecutive start for the Saints in place of an injured Drew Brees. He looked confident and efficient in his debut start against Atlanta in Week 11, but faltered in a game-manager role against the Broncos a week later. What kind of Taysom time will the Saints bring to Mercedes-Benz Stadium? Will more key injuries loom large in a rivalry showdown? Will the Saints sack Matt Ryan nine more times? Scroll below for key broadcast info, storylines to know, expert picks and more before the NFC South matchup kicks off at noon. https://bloximages.newyork1.vip.town...ze=1700%2C1062 Get important gameday information, including how to watch, stream and follow the game, below. Re: Saints @ Falcons Game Day Thread
I wanna see this defense harass Matt Ryan again. Fun to watch when he gets happy feet in the pocket.

Re: Saints @ Falcons Game Day Thread
The Falcons won’t have a solution for Hill regardless of how much tape they have on him. Hill isn’t their problem, their bullsh1t team is.
Hill isn’t Drew Brees, Tom Brady, or Payton Manning, he doesn’t beat teams with his arm or command of offensive strategy. Hill is a pawn and regardless of what you think about Sean Payton, he’s driving this bus and today and our score is going to be about our receivers, running backs, and offensive line. The Falcons are about to get pounded like the bottom of a fat girls Ranch bottle. |
Re: Saints @ Falcons Game Day Thread
Skid drawers isn’t going to go deep today that ball will be slung to Rbs, slot receivers and who- Lee- ohh will go deep just to get double teamed bank it .

Re: Saints @ Falcons Game Day Thread
This could be a tough one. Not having Davenport or Janoris Jenkins is going to hurt. Calvin Ridley could have a real big day.

Whether they put Marshon on Ridley or Julio, Patrick Robinson (hamstring) and Marcus Williams will have to double on the other outside WR... Malcolm Jenkins, now a liability in coverage, will probably blitz while DeMario takes out their Tight End Hayden Hurst... Having Sheldon Rankins back should help the inside speed rush to get in Matt Ryan's face... Kwon Alexander could be the X-factor by freeing up Demario, taking on Hurst or blitzing; suspect they'll be used to bully slot/inside receivers... Big assumption is ATL likes to use the RBs to block to make Matt Ryan comfortable; possible late wheel routes this time around... |

Can't believe he's not the leader in voting among defensive ends...

Re: Saints @ Falcons Game Day Thread
Regardless of what happened in the last game between these two teams …
Losing Janoris is a big deal, not to mention we have no idea how healthy PRob will be nursing a hamstring injury. *Last thing I want to see is Crawley on Calvin Ridley. I think we can still get to skid britches bringing 4. Key match up for me … our DB's vs Atlanta's receivers. |

Davenport has been MIA most of the season anyway. |
Re: Saints @ Falcons Game Day Thread
No Armstead either, Falcons could send heavy pressure.

BTW Rankins to Davenport is a huge drop off. |

While Easton won't be mistaken as a road-grader, he's got terrific movement, especially to the second level and complements either Ramczyk or Armstead well in our zone blocking and traps... Had hoped Ruiz could nail down the Center job so McCoy with his agility and speed could nail down a guard position and allow either Peat or Easton to be out swingman on the line... |

Re: Saints @ Falcons Game Day Thread
Nice job yet again D.
The communication is fantastic, D.Davis signaled to P-rob to say in the flat and he was right there to hit Julio following the dump off pass. |
