I somewhat disagree, because Drew and Taysom have a really great rapport and, unlike most other 2 QB situations, our locker room is strong and players love both QB's regardless out of who is out there. Drew is like our Phillips head screwdriver and yes will want him out there in most situations, but occasionally that flat-head screwdriver (Taysom) sure comes in handy. |

Pulling Brees for a play has more often than not resulted in an interruption of flow and frequently killed drives. Sure, Taysom has had some big gainers, but we could have just as easily moved the ball with Brees' arm as with Taysom's legs. A novelty play here or there, fine. But anything more would in my opinion be detrimental.
