Re: Saints defense shows its backbone with crucial red zone stop in final 2 minutes | Luke Johnson
Luke nailed in this article. One of his best and he is really good to begin with.
It's a must read! |

I really wish Taysom and the offense could have socked the game away, but I'll gladly take the win.

There's the other way to look at this. If Taysom and the offense puts the game away, there's no need for defensive heroics. Glad the defense is stepping it up. It is a team game after all.

Defense did great to stop them twice on the back foot.
Offense needs to do a better job sealing the game, that second Taysom fumble had "scoop and score" written all over it. Luckily for us it went out of bounds. |

The usual suspects show up every week. DD, Cam, David O, Trey etc., but the role players are making a huge impact.
Shy "Ninja" Tuttle, Granderson & Glasgow and bringing it in the rotation. I thought Marcus Williams played extremely well on yesterday. Even though Atlanta is struggling record wise, they are a top passing attack that was for the most part bottled up by the stingy Saints defense. Keep grinding. |

Taysom misses on any of those 11, we likely lost the game... Perspective: 3rd Career Start; He and Payton will get ball security figured out... |

Our defense is so much fun to watch. Just imagine how pumped they would be in front of full Dome screaming Who Dat!
