Re: Question about Saints losing to backup/rookie Qb’s
It's simple. Rookies are Payton's Kryptonite! He's going down every time unfortunately.

Aviation is my forte' & background and I've flown in horrendous conditions during the Afghanistan war. Dropping down to 150 knots in a F-16 fighter is no picnic … challenging but no fun at all. As for storm chasing? You want to be seated in a Lockheed WC-130J that's for sure ;). Born and raised in South Central Louisiana but absolutely despise cold weather whether it's flying in or watching a game in the cheap seats. You do what you have to do though :biggun:. |

The defense failed to take advantage of their opportunities. The offense failed to take advantage of their opportunities. Special Teams failed also. I could hyperanalyze each individual, and each snap, but doing so gives me a headache, lol, so I’ll leave that to the rest of you all who truly enjoy that level of focus. I’m more of a big picture person. But you are spot on correct in that I’m anxious to see the defensive response. Was the Philly run game an anomaly? Yes, I do give credit to their coaching, but most importantly I give credit to their athletes, they made the plays, and won the 1v1’s when it counted most. |

Ok, I lied. It was only 16 inches. Not a legit 2 feet. It just seemed that way while plowing.

Re: Question about Saints losing to backup/rookie Qb’s
Saints D had averaged Allowing like 9 points a game against opponents over their previous 5 including games against Tampa and Atlanta. The D for the Saints gave up much more than that in this game against a rookie with a struggling O. It was not because their O struggled and put them in bad position.
