Re: NFL TV Coverage Map Week 15
It's the Jim Nantz & Tony Romo show !
For me, this will be a treat as I listen to Romo break down Taysom's reads, progressions, check downs etc. His break downs and play by play is on point. Nice. |

Re: NFL TV Coverage Map Week 15
Calling it like it is, K. Taysom appears to have a problem making pre-snap reads and then takes far to long post-snap to get the ball to anyone other than the primary ... if even that. The offensive line is getting the blame when it should fall on Hill. Brees gets the ball out between 2-3 seconds after going through his progression. That takes all the pressure off the line. When time is needed Brees can move in the pocket, while Hill has looked lost.

Re: NFL TV Coverage Map Week 15
I Want to start by saying I know I’m new here, and I didn’t join the site to pick fights and have stress. Lord knows there’s enough of that going on in the world right now. Just wanted to celebrate my love of the Saints. So I’m not trying to direct this at anyone specific.
By my nature, I honestly try to gather as much info and make statements based upon research rather than emotion. So, that allows for the possibility (if not probability) that I might be wrong in my assessments. Therefore, I react negatively to statements where someone’s evaluation says this “can’t”happen or someone “can’t do something. Or we “know” what a player can or can’t do. Or someone saying “I’m stating a fact “ without considering they might be wrong or listening to someone else’s opinions. That takes a big ego. |
You think you know, but you don’t know...and you never will! Coach Jim Mora

Re: NFL TV Coverage Map Week 15
Is it just me, or is Romo's color commentary kind of meh now? He doesn't seem to describe the details of the formations and what he anticipates the playcall or who the pass target will be anymore. He still beats Aikman and most others, but not by as much as I'd expect.
