If someone says Brees playing is crazy and you say it isn’t then that is a counter opinion. If you tell them the decision isn’t theirs well that’s a passive aggressive way of telling them their opinion doesn’t matter or that they are stupid... it’s ad hominem.

A discussion is an exchange of ideas. I recognize what you are doing because at one point in time I had three close family members that were terminally ill and it impacted the way I carried myself on these forums. It took Papz lighting me up to make me realize that I was just being caustic. All three family members passed within six weeks and I had to come to terms with that and what I had become, that’s why I spent over a year away.

We are never too old to look in the mirror and make half time adjustments.

He'll never listen to your reason. Only his own. I've blocked 2 people in 2o years. He's one of the. The ridiculous part is, he argues so much with others that I consistantly see his posts anyway because they're quoted. Lol. It's insane.

Idk if he got progressively worse this year with his God Complex, but I finally had enough.

God bless you all! See you all in therapy! Lol

It’s tough to not have one’s (or onto others) Jimmies rustled when it comes To talking about something as passionate as Saints fandom. One of the most pissed my oldest brother and I ever got at each other started as a discussion about Scott Shanle.

Shanle ... perhaps the single most underrated Saints player of all time. He was even voted by his fellow players as the team's defensive MVP one season.

I'll gladly listen to your reasoning. I'm hoping to get it. I may poke holes in it, but I love getting it. That's the fun part of debating opinions. If I disagree with an opinion I don't simply state that the person is wrong as implied. I tell them why I disagree and give as much support to my differing opinion as is possible.

That appears to get some panties in a wad. :D

Do players recovering with rib related injuries wear inflatable type flak jackets anymore:?: I am going to date myself here:doh: finishing this thought and query but I recall back in the 80s Dan Pastorini wore a flak jacket which apparently offered him and his ribs some protection during live game action.

There is perhaps far more advanced equipment used today instead of the flak jacket or whatever that riggin' was that they had Pastorini wearing. I may be using the wrong terminology to describe the piece of equipment that Pastorini used back then but suffice to say it was some kind of inflatable vest that protected him somewhat(at least in theory it was supposed to).

Wonder if Brees might be wearing some kind of extra protection along these lines :goodidea::?:or might that kind of thing hinder him throwing the ball:?:

Whatchay'all think?:bng:

They discussed this today on NFL Radio. He'll be wearing the exact same flak jacket design that Tomy Romo wore the week after he suffered his own broken ribs and collapsed lung injuries. They said that all QB's now wear a form of flak jacket weekly, but there are different more protective ones for other circumstances.
