I have a feeling they are a bit more informed than any of us.

So you aren’t informed either, just like to pretend your feelings are gospel?

I know for a fact I can’t know what’s going on on the inside. I have said that many, many times. I have my opinions like anyone else that I feel strong about, however. What’s wrong with that?

Someone shared an opinion then you shared an opinion about their opinion in essence telling them that they don’t know anything. Then you get defensive about someone telling you the same thing about your opinion. That’s called being passive aggressive, you go from authority to victim in 60 seconds.

This is an observation from this page, not an opinion.

You come in the game chat trolling about a player not even on the field then throw a tantrum proclaiming you are leaving. 5 minutes later you are back at it then curse the group for noticing you didn’t leave.

FFS Guido, I really hate saying all this because I don’t recall you being this way then recently I found myself wondering why so many had issue with you, now it’s clear. No one has a valid opinion but you it seems.

If you come into a public forum to share your opinions you must expect others to not agree with your opinions and what comes with that should be reasoning from those others why disagree with your opinion. I could just ignore opinions of which I disagree, but where is the value in that?

I agree with as many opinions as with those that I disagree. I almost always acknowledge that with a "like". Sometimes I voice my support. Those that I disagree with I simply make it plainly known. One area where I have been extremely consistent is maintaining that none of us, me absolutely included, can know what is best for our team without having intimate access to ALL the information possible ... which NONE of us have. If you or anyone else has an issue with that I couldn't really care less. Informing someone that they cannot know something that they indeed could not have any way of knowing is simply being honest.

This will be my last reply on this as you value no insight other than your own it seems.

If someone says Brees playing is crazy and you say it isn’t then that is a counter opinion. If you tell them the decision isn’t theirs well that’s a passive aggressive way of telling them their opinion doesn’t matter or that they are stupid... it’s ad hominem.

A discussion is an exchange of ideas. I recognize what you are doing because at one point in time I had three close family members that were terminally ill and it impacted the way I carried myself on these forums. It took Papz lighting me up to make me realize that I was just being caustic. All three family members passed within six weeks and I had to come to terms with that and what I had become, that’s why I spent over a year away.

So how should I word it to seem less abusive?

"I respect your opinion that it is crazy that Brees is starting. However, I respect even more the decision making by those that have hands on knowledge on his readiness."

Is that better? Or is that still too caustic? I do value your insight, but I am who I am and I share my thoughts the way I share my thoughts. If I rub some people the wrong way I am sorry, but I am not going to change who I am.

You know what they say about opinions, right?

Simone Elkeles — 'Opinions are like *******s, everybody's got one and everyone thinks everyone else's stinks.'

If someone feels my opinion stinks they are free to say so and give their reasoning. Have at it. There are a few here that do just that. I respect the fact that Boston Saint has done just that. But, I will defend my opinion, as well.

He'll never listen to your reason. Only his own. I've blocked 2 people in 2o years. He's one of the. The ridiculous part is, he argues so much with others that I consistantly see his posts anyway because they're quoted. Lol. It's insane.

Idk if he got progressively worse this year with his God Complex, but I finally had enough.

God bless you all! See you all in therapy! Lol

I agree with you that they are far better informed than we are. I just hope that if the game gets decided early, OR, if our Oline has an off day they get him the hell out of there. Ribs are fragile and it wouldn't take much to reinjure himself before playoffs.

I have a feeling the game will come down to the very end. Every player is susceptible to injury on any given play. I'm sure they weigh all the risks when making the decision.
