Re: WR Free Agents Out There

There's no way to bring a WR in off the street at this point and bring them up to speed on even a fraction of the playbook. Especially in this pandemic environment. They have to clear protocols before they would even be allowed in the complex. By the time they would get clearance to practice it would be well into next week with the Carolina game coming up shortly. K-Major is right, we have to roll with what we've got. We'll be getting everyone else back after the Panthers game.

Agree. Only possible exception is Stills since he has SOME history with Drew. But even that is a stretch.

Cook seems disinterested and Trautman is a rookie. I want to see Trautman play more often, though.

Disinterested is a good description Ice. Doesn’t have a killer instinct. There probably isn’t a Nickel worth of difference in physical ability between him and say, Kelce. Yet Kelce fights for everything.

I would love to see more of Troutman. Dude does nothing but makes plays when given the chance.
Emmanuel Butler?

Butler, the training camp legend? Was good in camp, minor set back (injury) however in past pre season games, no separation or ability to make plays or move the chains.

As for Trautman, he's the future. I like his game a lot.
