Best Holiday wishes to all!

In my short time on B&G it’s been great to see the passion for the Saints. Thanks all for welcoming me. Spending 40+ years away from where I was born has been tough sometime. But I always remembered my childhood home.

Not surprisingly, I was Probably the only kid In Montana that had a Bayou Bullet poster on the wall. When I was 12, my mom told me “Son, you aren’t gonna meet any girl up here who knows how to cook. So, if you want to eat the foods you like, you better learn how now”. That’s when I made my first gumbo. Being in 5th grade with a southern accent made me stand out. The other boys teased me for it... but that’s probably because the girls loved me for it!😁
I’ve tried to carry that Louisiana spirit where ever I’ve traveled and lived, even if it did not fit in. I have a fleur-de-lis tattoo and I didn’t get it just because of the Saints. That is the ONLY tattoo I have.

In short, it’s closing in on Christmas Eve here, so Merry Christmas to all! My wife’s family is Jewish, so Happy Hanukkah! If you celebrate Kwanza or another event I’m missing, or if you don’t believe in the Holidays at all, I wish you, your family and loved ones happiness and good fortune.

Geaux Saints!
