At least the Dome came through with nothing more than a minor window leak. The training facility in Metairie appears to have survived intact, as well.

The schedule has really played into our hands given the situation. Our third home game isn't scheduled until October 31. We should be able to return home well before then. That means the only other "home" game besides the opener that we have to play elsewhere is the October 3 game against the Giants. And it isn't completely out of the realm of possibility that that game could be played at home.

By the way, that game on the 31st is against Tampa Bay. You think the team and crowd are going to be fired up? Winston facing his old team. Return to the Dome. Michael Thomas returning from PUP. Onyemata returning from suspension.

Outside with neighbors cleaning, watching linemen heroes replace utility poles, we talked about the deja vu of the schedule...
