Re: 2021 New Orleans Saints | Schedule
Last I saw mine was around 93%. What I do know is that there is not a single hospitalization of a vaccinated individual due to COVID related issues in the northern part of the state. While the vaccine is not 100%, it absolutely has protective qualities far beyond just preventing the infection. It positively limits the severity of the variants.
FYI, Tuesday marked the highest number of reported positive tests since the pandemic began in Louisiana and the state remains near the bottom in vaccinated qualifiers at around 35%. |

We are in this strange situation where the folks who don't need to wear a mask (the vaccinated) are willing to do so, while many of those who really do need to wear a mask (the unvaccinated), balk at the prospect.
Before the mask mandate was dropped in the infection rate was below 2%. After it was lifted it's up to 6.5%. As the old saying goes, it isn't paranoia if someone is actually out to get you. SFIAH |

It would reduce the infection rate down to miniscule numbers and the severity down to minimal degrees. That would eliminate the need for any masks as we would essentially be at herd immunity numbers.
Would some people still wear masks? Probably, but I couldn't imagine there being any public prompting. |
