On Wednesday, Saints veteran receiver Emmanuel Sanders was asked about what he’s seen from Callaway in his rookie year. Sanders, who has been in the league since 2010, had nothing but praise for Callaway. Sanders believes that Callaway has all the tools to be a star in the NFL one day.
“Marquez Callaway, I’m telling you guys, you better remember his name,” Sanders said. “I’ve got a feeling if the guy stays healthy, he’s going to be a special player in this league. He’s not even close to hitting his peak. He’s going to hit it just based off how he’s built. Good humble kid. Wants to work hard … They said it’s a good rookie receiver class. No one’s talking about him, but this guy is a player. When I got into games, I look across and know that he is going to make some plays. He’s a special player.” Read more here |

Re: Saints veteran WR showers Marquez Callaway with praise
I honestly think Callaway deserves a bigger role, let Trequan walk after this year or promote Callaway to the #2 and sign Trequan cheap.
He's a great run blocker, very comfortable receiver that catches with his hands and has on field awareness. Literally everything I thought Trequan could be. |

Re: Saints veteran WR showers Marquez Callaway with praise
Marquez is already ahead of the curve in development. High points the ball & can catch away from his body. Anyone notice in the Vikes game how he turned into a defender & knocked the ball away, ultimately saving a interception? Callaway is a smart WR.
He's getting healthy at the right time too. Good luck in the post season. |

Drew already trusts him. That says a lot.

Re: Saints veteran WR showers Marquez Callaway with praise
Callaway looks polished already with no off season to prepare. Now that's pretty darn impressive.

Don’t want to jinx the kid but damn he reminds me of colston. With better moves but has the colston eye on the ball with don’t give a damn what’s happening around him
