Referee Adrian Hill assigned to back-to-back Saints games

Here’s an odd one: the New Orleans Saints will be working with the same officiating crew in Week 17’s regular season finale as they met in Week 16, per Football Zebras. Referee Adrian Hill and his staff have been assigned to the Saints’ upcoming match with the Carolina Panthers a week after they officiated the Saints’ NFC South-clinching win over the Minnesota Vikings.

Hill, 55, is a software engineer for the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory Space Exploration Sector.
He is directly involved in software used by NASA and a great example of the serious work that many officials do when they’re not on NFL fields.

You see, that’s the problem in officiating put some football IQ people in there, some of them smart asses don’t know a pass interference from a pitot tube.

Well, on the bright side they did let us play without too many flags. That is until later in the game when the refs were trying to keep the score close.
