Gardner was a BIG surprise in training camp this year. He was doing very well and the coaching staff was very high on him. I hope Gardner makes it on the practice squad. If he does make it, I don't expect him to stay very long before being activated.
Jimmy Williams was doing really well in camp. I don't know where he is going go. The biggest surprise cut for me was Folau. I thought he would make the cut. He was having a decent camp and I expected him to stay on. I just hope the Saints stay on the game and come out and dominate from 9/11/2005! Geaux Saints!!! |

Don't you guys think that Gardner, Setterstrom, and Kingsbury will be headed for the practice squad?
Poole and Fisher gone, eh? So much for offseason gambles there. Either Green's release is a very good sign that our DL is on the improve, or it is just another sign that the organization isn't ready to admit their mistake with Sullivan. I can't decide what I think yet. After Folau's injury prior to last season, he hasn't been the same. He couldn't even pass Riley to start. A good sign for Stinchcomb's progress though. I am surprised that they didn't keep Williams though. |

I thought Talman was probably safe. Perhaps his pre-season game injury was a factor.
Hopefully, he'll have a future and someone will pick him up. Not likely, huh? Having followed his career here in Tallahassee, he seems he was one of those who was shaping up personally, as well as professionally. 8) |

Thank goodness Folau is gone... after watching him get used and abused against Carolina and Tampa Bay, I was hoping I would never have to see him play in black and gold again.

I actually thought Poole was playing pretty good. I am a little surprised that he got cut. I wouldn't have minded seeing him stay on the team. Wasn't he having a good offseason?
