this is a discussion within the Website Support Forum Community Forum; Somehow I started getting emails everytime someone replies to a thread in which I post. I'm getting tons of unneeded emails. How do I turn this off? Thanks...

I changed yours to "subscribe without notification" That way you can track threads you've posted to in your usercp, but no email will be sent. You can change the method of subscription by visiting your user control panel Usercp>>Settings & Options>>Click - Edit Options>> Scroll down to Messaging & Notification>>Default Thread Subscription Mode There you can select the type of subscription for threads and posts. ![]() |

Re: Emails for every response
If there are threads you replied to when you had your Subscription Notifications set to "send email notification" and those threads are still active (being posted to) you will still get email from them.
Whatever you have your notifications set to in your usercp will be the default on every thread you reply to going forward- from here on. How do I tell what threads and posts I'm subscribed to? 1.) You can visit each forum you post and see a check box that is a notice that you are subscribed to a particular thread... ![]() There you can go into each thread you are subscribed and click "thread tools>>Subscribe (or Unsubscribe) ![]() 2.) Visit your User Control Panel (Usercp). There you will find a listing of threads you are already subscribed to. You can click "unsubscribe" within the control panel instead of entering each thread. ![]() |
