Transatlantic Saint ;)
Hi Everybody,
I'd like to introduce myself. I'm a 26-year old Saints fan from The Netherlands. I love american football (as we call it) and soccer. I'm an active player myself as well. I used to root for the Houston Oilers, but since they're gone I'm looking for a new love .... I rooted for the Texans for a while, but it's just not the same. Since New Orleans is my favorite American city, the Sains seem to be a wise choice! My English isn't on par with you guys, but I'm trying.... Go Saints, Go New Orleans, Go America! |

Welcome aboard!
What position do you play in football and do you guys have a professional league at the moment? I remember seeing at least once the Amsterdam Admirals play in a NFL Europe game, but haven't ever seen a Dutch national league game. Oh, and you chose wisely - Saints are the No. 1 teams in the NFL par none. |

Thank you all for the warm welcome...
@FinSaint: there's no pro league left in Holland. The Admirals are long gone and the biggest teams that took their place are Amsterdam Crusaders, Amsterdam Panthers and Maastricht Wildcats. I play for a smaller team in the 2nd division: Eindhoven Raptors. At the moment as MLB and OT. |

Welcome Dutch! You've made a good choice.
I spent a week working in Bladel, outside of Eindhoven, about 10-11 years ago. It's a beautiful country. Best coffee I've ever had was at the restaurant in the Bladel Hotel. |

When I was in Europe I stayed with a host family in the Netherlands for two days. The guy was a Doctor - I cannot remember his name, but I can tell you he LOATHED Ronald Reagan. LMAO
