" Dixie Beer '47 Ford COE Truck "
Okay, this doesn't say Saints anywhere on it but on any Sunday when the Saints play football, it's a very important part of enjoying the game.
At one time Dixie Beer was the leading "beverage" in New Orleans. Close on it's heels was Jax and Falstaff. Dixie Brewing Company on Tulane Avenue still stands. Clint Eastwood shot scenes from "TightRope" inside the facilities. All the images here were created from scratch, piece by piece in PhotoShop, printed out as homemade Decals and laid down on multilayered House Of Kolor automotive paint. The stars and stripes were created and laid down as individual pieces for correct alignment and spacing. Look closely and you'll notice the beveling and how the flames float on top of the flag. While the original Dixie Beer trucks weren't as colorful as mine, this is how I would have built them. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() --CadillacPat-- |

No problem Homer, that just leaves more flag for the rest of us.
I think it was kind of silly to open that can of worms. The End. |
